KTM's Parent Company Rebrands as Bajaj Mobility AG

Pierer Mobility AG, the parent company of KTM, has been renamed Bajaj Mobility AG. According to motorcycle.com, this change follows Bajaj's acquisition of a larger stake in KTM. KTM CEO Gottfried Neumeister stated that the move aims to stabilize the brand for the long term. However, motorcycle.com also reports that this transition involves cost-cutting measures, including layoffs. Reportedly, 500 of the company's 3,794 employees have been let go.

Despite the restructuring, KTM has been updating its motorcycle lineup. The 2026 models include updated Dukes and the 1390 Super Adventure S EVO. The 990 Duke R features an 8.8-inch touchscreen, while the 1390 Super Adventure S EVO receives an engine upgrade to 173 hp and 145 Nm of torque.
