Martínez, inducted into the MotoGP Hall of Fame in 2019, has been a prominent figure in the Grand Prix scene since 1982. According to a press release, the Aspar Universe aims to build on existing racing projects led by Martínez, offering a structured approach to discovering and developing future racers.

Key aspects of the Aspar Universe include:

  • Comprehensive Training: Covering various levels of racing, from minibikes to PreMoto4, Moto4 in the Spanish Championship, Stock European Championship, and Moto2.
  • Global Reach: Working with nearly 200 riders from over 30 countries.
  • Technical Education: Training future racing mechanics through the Aspar KSB Technical Academy.

The academy is already working with a diverse group of riders, including representation in various championships. The MIR Racing Aspar Cup, for example, features riders from 32 nationalities, showcasing the program's international scope.

Beyond rider development, the Aspar Universe emphasizes technical training. The Aspar KSB Technical Academy, established in 2020, provides specialized training for aspiring motorcycle mechanics, offering hands-on experience within the Aspar racing teams.

The Aspar Circuit, located near Valencia, serves as the central hub for the Aspar Universe. It houses the racing teams, training facilities for both riders and mechanics, and the Jorge Martínez “Aspar” museum.

Martínez stated that the 'Aspar Universe' is a project reflecting many years of work. He expressed happiness in creating something different and contributing to motorcycling by developing young talent and giving them the opportunity to grow and reach the elite level. He highlighted the international aspect of the project, with riders from very different countries, and its potential for replication in other countries, already underway in China with CFMOTO.
