According to American Honda, the HRC Performance Shop program will initially focus on offering select HRC performance components for 2025 and newer CBR1000RR-R Fireblade models. These components include:

  • Engine parts
  • Electrical parts
  • Chassis components
  • Setup tools

The program intends to create an official, factory-backed channel for HRC parts and know-how, making it easier for Honda riders and teams to access the components they need to be competitive. Brandon Wilson, Manager of Racing and Advertising at American Honda's Powersports & Products Division, stated that the program is the next step in growing Honda's support of road racing, simplifying access to HRC components. This should allow Red Riders to more effectively battle at the front of road racing tracks across the country, according to Wilson.

The following dealerships have been selected to participate in the HRC Performance Shop pilot program:

  • Al Lamb's Dallas Honda – Dallas, TX
  • Jones Honda – Columbia, MO
  • Southern Honda Powersports – Chattanooga, TN

These dealerships were chosen based on their established track record of supporting high-level, closed-course motorcycle racing, either through direct race-team involvement or through sustained technical and parts support for racing customers. American Honda says that these dealerships are well positioned to uphold the standards and objectives of the HRC Performance Shop designation during the pilot phase.

American Honda will evaluate opportunities to expand the program to include model-specific race kits and potentially complete, fully built competition units. The company also intends to expand the program to additional qualified powersports dealers, reinforcing Honda's long-term commitment to competitive racing support. The timeline for this expansion is not confirmed.

The launch of the HRC Performance Shop pilot program marks a significant step in American Honda's efforts to bolster its support for road racing in the U.S. By providing easier access to HRC parts and expertise, Honda aims to empower its riders and teams to achieve greater success on the track, according to the company.
